About AIPMT

All India Pre-Medical Entrance Test (AIPMT) conducted by CBSE for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses is taking place on May 4, 2014. AIPMT scores are used for admission to 15 per cent seats in Government Medical/Dental College and are also used by participating private colleges. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) used for MBBS and BDS admissions in 2013 has been replaced by AIPMT, although the entrance exam syllabus remains the same as that for NEET UG.
