COMEDK
A entrance test is held by the Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association under the name of Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). This is independent of the CET conducted by the government of Karnataka and is used to fill NRI and management quota seats of certain engineering colleges, medical colleges, dental colleges in Karnataka. Non-Karnataka students (students not eligible to be considered in the Karnataka quota) cannot appear for the CET. They can only appear for the COMEDK examination.

The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association, in their endeavour to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students seeking admission to the member institutions, have formed“Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka”. (COMEDK).
(COMEDK) has been assigned the task of organising a common entrance test for the academic year 2010-2011, for candidates aspiring to pursue Post Graduate Courses in Medicine and Dentistry in the state of Karnataka, in Member Institutions of the Consortium (Medical and Dental Colleges).

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in association with MCI and Dental Council of India (DCI) will soon going to publish NEET UG 2013 Admit card or NEET UG 2013 Hall Ticket on official website of NEET 2013.
MCI and DCI handover responsibilities to Central Government to held entrance test for medical and dental courses of MBBS and BDS for all students who seeking to get admission in medical colleges through NEET. Earlier before this year students have to appear for AIPMT and various state university Entrance exam which was conduct by MCI and authorities of respective university in which they want to get admission for MBBS and BDS Courses but from this year on wards CBSE integrated all other medical entrance exam into one called NEET Undergraduate exam. Now if student want to appear for this NEET exam then he/she must have apply for NEET 2013 Application form after which they will get NEET UG 2013 Admit card for entrance into exam centre.

Eligibility

Candidates shall complete the age of 17 years by 31 Dec.
Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with50% marks (40% for SC / ST and Backward class candidates and 45% for person with locomotory disability of lower limb).
